Hello from Philadelphia: I have been picking up one handed lost gloves for at least the last seven years . I use them as work gloves, extra gloves for the car and never worry if they match . Sometimes I will wear right handed gloves on my left hand . A glove by any other name is still a glove. I might occasionally find a pair but that isn't fun at all. Just Stay warm, y'all.
Hi there Just to let you know that your site was mentioned on our local radio station 107 The Bee in Darwen Lancashire UK Hooray your lost gloves are now going global Good luck to you What a fantastic idea from Helen UK
On a cold, wintry day in 2003 I dropped a glove in the parking lot. I went back to get it and a 2001 Camry parked on it, and you could see the tips of the fingers sticking out under the tire. I left a note, asking the driver to please throw it in the grass when he backed up. That evening, the glove lay in the snowy grass, frozen. I took it home and cleaned it. My friend LaDonna thought this was hilarious. She is the one who introduced me to this great site! Thanks! Sincerely, Chris from KY
"onecoldhand.com is a project that connects the Pittsburgh community through one unfortunate event - the loss of a glove. The website creates a method for dealing with the conundrum of finding these lost articles. Do you leave it and hope the owner comes back to find it? Do you pick it up? Throw it away? With onecoldhand.com, the abandoned object now becomes a symbol of benevolence and hope." -----Jennifer Gooch
SEE YOUR GLOVE? email a picture of the other glove to onecoldhand@gmail.com - we'll reunite them for free!
LOSE A PAIR? We get pairs all the time. Email a detailed description of your gloves to onecoldhand@gmail.com. Unclaimed pairs will be donated to charity.

(I still have stickers, if you'd like them for nostalgia's sake.)
wanna be a finder? stickers available at drop-boxes or by mail!
find a glove, leave a sticker...
One Cold Hand is no longer, but there are plenty of lost and founds, Craigslists, and other means of trying to connect someone with the thing they have lost.

There is a sculptor in Cambridge, Massachusetts, who cast lost gloves for a public art project installed in one of the subway sstations.
The website which shows some of the bronze gloves is at : http://www.harriesheder.com/glove.htm
I heard the BBC show about your project, and thought you'd be interested in knowing about Mags Harries' project
