I think that you should donate the unclaimed gloves to homeless people. Maybe even just hand them out to the homeless people you see on the street. I know they don't match, but I doubt you care that much when you are outside in the freezing cold with no gloves.

Why does everyting now-a-days have to be about the homeless? Don't get me wrong, I'm in no way against helping homeless people however I beleive the whole point to doing this is to collect the missing glove, and present it with its rightful owner, no?
There are plenty of shelters that provide gloves, sweaters, hats, ect... for homeless people. If you people really care that much about the needy why not get up from your office chair and do something about it, donate your own gloves. Why not go door-to-door and collect gloves and other essetials from your neighbors to donate, instead of pointing the finger at others to do.
"onecoldhand.com is a project that connects the Pittsburgh community through one unfortunate event - the loss of a glove. The website creates a method for dealing with the conundrum of finding these lost articles. Do you leave it and hope the owner comes back to find it? Do you pick it up? Throw it away? With onecoldhand.com, the abandoned object now becomes a symbol of benevolence and hope." -----Jennifer Gooch
SEE YOUR GLOVE? email a picture of the other glove to onecoldhand@gmail.com - we'll reunite them for free!
LOSE A PAIR? We get pairs all the time. Email a detailed description of your gloves to onecoldhand@gmail.com. Unclaimed pairs will be donated to charity.
MEDIA INQUIRES: contact Eric Sloss 412-268-5765 cell: 412-480-7246 ecs@andrew.cmu.edu
(I still have stickers, if you'd like them for nostalgia's sake.)
wanna be a finder? stickers available at drop-boxes or by mail!
find a glove, leave a sticker...
One Cold Hand is no longer, but there are plenty of lost and founds, Craigslists, and other means of trying to connect someone with the thing they have lost.
